Malawian people sing beautiful and
strong, but they don’t have so many opportunities to learn music theory.
Yesterday I went to Music club at TTC
(Teacher Training Collage). Every Tuesday we have different Social clubs and I
decided to take part in Music club, because I was learning in Music school and
I can teach them something form music theory, classical music, in general about
music, because I love music! Last time I was teaching music theory and we were
singing song.
This time students organized to bring
speakers so that we can put the song and listen it very carefully! Malawians
are very faithful and they believe in blessing :) I like it! So I decided to
bring this song for Music club participants:
“Michael Jackson & Celine Dion - If
you only believe”
We were singing and concentrating to
sing right, latter I saw that everyone get tired to concentrate. This is not
only Music club but also Dancing club and then I said: “Ok, let’s dance!”
You can’t describe it with words, but
these last 10 or 15 minutes of dancing was amazing! There came students from
other clubs and we all were dancing. When you are there you can feel joy and when
you dance, you get even more energy! We are happy! ;)
